You: god delusion
Stranger: is god delusional, I haven't talked to him lately
You: it drives me crazy sometimes that we cant be sure about his existence.
Stranger: well in all seriousness, how can we be sure he cares if we know
You: well youre right, he can do anthing to us. he doesnt have to be fair
Stranger: We are always being told that we can't really know what god is thinking or what his plan is because god operates on a higher/different plane of existence so far above us that we should just believe and wait, but think about it, if god is so high up and thinks so differently then what are we to him, what if, there was a creator, with a plan, but we are just some little side project or accident in the whole grand scheme of things that shouldn't even exist
You: thinking is what we humans do. probably there is no god who thinks, decides, wants.. the thing we call god must be more "unhuman". a power or something

You: well i dont move a lot. but I'm gonna leave the country, turkey
Stranger: so you are from turkey?
You: yes
You: most people have some nasty ideas about "all" the turkish people
Stranger: thats cool you are from turkey, i really don't know a thing about turkey, im sorry about that. I think my next move will be to Japan, nowhere near turkey, but just something about me
You: turkey is not a good place to live. the people here [most of them] are pretty nationalist and religious. that makes me crazy. and they never listens you, if they have an idea in their minds, and if they believes it, you got nothing to do, to let them see the truth. they're believing blindly.. I think not just the turkish people, also the world's people is like this.
Stranger: pretty much, it kinda sucks
You: you had a religion?
Stranger: i have a religion, I was raised Lutheran, ive developed my own idea of the universe that I would call my religion its not perfect, it doesn't answer everything, but I'm ok with it
You: youre a protestant or something like that?
Stranger: yeah
Stranger: but im not boxed in by any particular dogma
You: good
Stranger: yeah, i find religions of the world fascinating and sometimes i pull things I think may be correct and bring them together
You: what s your job?
Stranger: I work on universities, I live in residential halls, and help students who live on campus
You: i gotta go
